Since most of our Nepalese have been going in UAE in working visa for better opportunity, UAE Embassy in Nepal had been essential. After long wait, UAE has finally established Embassy in Kathmandu.
It was initiated by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the current Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, UAE. On this occasion, the Minister of UAE had reached Nepal one day prior to the opening ceremony. He had used his private plane to arrive at Kathmandu. The Minister for UAE got formal invitation to attend the ceremony from Kamal Thapa who is the Minister for foreign Affairs. He is also working in the capacity of Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal. Around two hundred thousand Nepali people are estimated to be working in UAE. So, the opening of UAE Embassy in Nepal will help to make the bonding strong.

His identifications were submitted to the Nepali President Bidhya Devi Bhandari. Meeting was held at the office of Nepal’s President. Officials from Nepal and UAE are committed in working together for mutual benefits. UAE is willing to invest in Nepal. The diplomatic relations in between UAE and Nepal began in 1977 and it has been growing strong ever since.
