Inister bats for dignified foreign employment Nov-19-2009
Minister for Labour and Transport Management Mohammad Aftab Alam has stressed a dignified, systematic and result-oriented foreign employment sector.

Speaking at a discussion programme on the effects of remittance on the economy of Nepal organized by the International Organization on Migration here today, he said the foreign employment sector should be made systematic considering the overall impact the remittance is having on the national economy.

The Minister for Labour and Transport Management acknowledged that the budgetary allocation to the foreign employment sector is not adequate to the expected level and said the government will bring plans and programmes for that purpose.
